Awesome little seaside lobster joint. Half the business is a fish market. Awesome food. Good prices. Daily specials. Lots of town parking for a fee. Slap on a plastic bib and let the rain of butta begin.

Found this place on Yelp. Glad I did! I'm a huge fan of fried scallops. The scallop plate was plentiful and delicious. My friends ordered clam bake for one. They thoroughly enjoyed every bite. This place is cute and clean, right on the water. Lots of locals eating here.

A fantastic local spot in Plymouth! We had the best lobster rolls, so fresh and tasty. You order at their counter and wait for your name to be called. There is additional seating around the back of the restaurant as well.

Cute place on the water. Good menu with fresh fish. We tried the lobster roll at market price. They only make a cold lobster salad roll. I prefer a hot lobster roll with butter but they could not accommodate. The fresh fish selection looks really good. I will be back to try the fish.

I've been enjoying lobster and steamed clams often, for as long as my 75 year old memory takes me. I know the nuances of lobster flavor and texture when they are wearing hard shells, soft ones, and every version of armor in between. Until I visited Wood's, I didn't think lobster could be improved upon! It was amazing! My medium soft bug was cooked to perfection, and the flavor of the suculent meat was so incredibly sweet. Ditto for the steamers. Served in their individual steaming bag, they were cooked perfectly, with shells barely open, not overcooked and gaping wide, offering rubber to chew as so many places do. And all served with real, clarified, sweetcream butter! The unfortunate side of my report is the very limited, unsupervised seating. After my granddaughter, cousin and I received our trays of food, we stood in the dining area where every table was occupied. But the real problem was that two of the occupied tables were taken by individuals who were holding them for folks who were behind us in line, who had not yet received their meals. Obviously, locals with this knowledge have systemized this so they won't be left standing helplessly like we were. This unfair practice of permitting one person to skip the line past the ordering counter to keep a large table is a real problem that Woods can rectify by simply prohibiting this selfish practice, so I must take away one star. Fortunately, a gracious couple spoke up and invited us to dine with them, and we enjoyed a very pleasant meal together! Be forewarned about this seating issue and prepare yourself accordingly.

Cute clam shack. On the waterfront. Order at the counter then find a table. It's a small place so finding a table can be challenging, especially if you have more than 4 people. While sardines aren't on the menu you may feel like one. Got the fried whole clams and a lobster roll (Maine style). Both very solid. Would go back

Located on the waterfront. Order first then have a seat. They'll call your number when your order is up. It is a no nonsense, clean place to grab some seafood. We opted for the fried scallops and cold lobster roll. Both were great. The scallops and lobster were tender and of great portions. A great spot to grab food near the whale watching and deep sea fishing tours.

He wanted raw Littlenecks. Honestly we went to cabbyshack first but the prices were u real- $15 for 6 Littlenecks and $9 for chowder. So we wandered over to Woods. This is a fish market/ restaurant. No frills- and I mean zero frills. But the prices were great and the food was good. Order at the window and wait for your number. For $41 we got a beer, a soda, 12 Littlenecks, an order of fried fish and an order of onion rings. We shared the fish and couldn't finish half the onion rings (home made). Fish had a nice coating and was cooked perfectly. Nice views of the harbor from inside.

Woods Seafood is a fish market/restaurant located on the water in Plymouth. The only parking I could find was metered wharf parking next to the restaurant. Inside its counter service and I ordered a bowl of lobster bisque ($5.50) and the baked scallops with fries and slaw for ($21). The food was ready in about 15 minutes. The lobster bisque was served in a large bowl and was very good tasting and at that price point a steal! I enjoyed it. The baked scallops covered by Parmesan were equally good tasting and also were a generous portion. The slaw and fries were good too. It was a filling meal. The people who work here are friendly. I would be happy to return for a casual seafood meal.

Hit up Joes on our first time visit to Plymouth! My friend was our local tour guide and wanted to bring us to one of her fave spots while we were there. It was very casual vibe, with a walk up counter for ordering. They call your number and you enjoy your goods with a view of the water! The service was very friendly and food came out fast. The traffic was consistent, so must be a popular stop. We opted for the fried scallops plate and fish n chips. Both were tasty and hefty in portions. The scallop platter was market price and the fish n chips was very reasonable at $12 as of 10/23. It was tasty and hit the mark! The space is intimate, so not a great place for large groups, but we were able to get 5 in comfortably and easy. They also have a large counter where you can buy fresh fish, Bob who was behind the counter was great. Gave us lots of fun info on the differences and info on seafood. Definitely a nice spot to grab a bite and enjoy some seafood. Side note: They offer paid street parking all alone the downtown.
